Zenith provided several of the 600 series Trans-Oceanic Models to be covered with a tan cowhide covering and changed the color scheme of knobs and front plate bezel, wavemagnet and handles to match the tan color scheme. These seem to be the most sought after vacuum tube models and there were not that many produced. The A600L has all of the international shortwave broadcast bands as well as marine and AM standard broadcast stations. Although this radios works on both AC or DC, it has been several decades since Zenith or anyone else produced the A-B battery pack that was used to operate the radio in portable operation. This radio, regardless of its 1960 vintage age, has been restored electronically and carries our new radio warranty the same as was furnished when they were made, 90 days parts and labor.
